youngtrader.co.ke shares education, research and a personal record of a structured approach to the financial markets by Paul Ngugi (KD), together with research published under The Strategist Analyst. The aim is to help readers think more clearly about markets, risk and decision-making.

• Manage money, operate trading accounts or accept funds on anyone’s behalf.
• Offer copy trading, account management or investment schemes of any kind.
• Promise or imply returns or income.

If anyone claims to offer these services in our name, it is not us. Please report it to us immediately.

4. Understanding the risks

• Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. A small price movement can produce a large loss.
• Volatility: gold and currency prices can move sharply, including around news events and outside normal hours.
• Most retail traders lose money trading leveraged products, as broker risk disclosures consistently show.
• Scams are common: be wary of anyone promising guaranteed profits, fast returns or “signals” that cannot lose.

5. No guarantees or performance claims

Market analysis describes possible scenarios and the conditions that would support or invalidate them. Any scenario may fail. Journal entries are shared as a record of process and learning, not as evidence of future results. Past performance, whether real or illustrated, is not a reliable indicator of future results.

6. Accuracy of information

We work to keep information accurate, evidence-based and clearly dated. However, markets and facts change, and errors can occur. Content may be incomplete or out of date by the time you read it. We correct mistakes when we become aware of them and welcome corrections at any time.

7. Brokers and third parties

Use only brokers licensed by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya. You can check the current list of licensed firms at cma.or.ke. We do not currently have affiliate or paid relationships with any broker. If that ever changes, the relationship will be clearly disclosed wherever it appears.
